One thing I've learned from a decade of building AI products is that we spend too much time talking about the technology behind things. But what matters is whether it genuinely helps people. Does it save them time, make something easier, or remove a frustration?

I always start with empathy. I understand what someone actually needs, then figure out the best way to deliver that. Sometimes fancy tech is needed. Sometimes it's not.

I've also come to believe that the best products aren't planned into existence. They're shaped by the process of making them. Instead of mapping everything out upfront, I build something small, use it, share it, learn from it, and keep going.

That kind of hands-on iteration leads to products that actually work for people.
